Short description:

am FLEXSWELL R/B waterstop is a special sealing compound.  It is ideal for horizontal and vertical construction joints for cast-insitu concrete. 

When exposed to moisture, am FLEXSWELL R/B expands to form a compression seal in concrete joints in a controlled manner.  Being a hydrophilic polymer based waterstop, it will not expand to a point that it causes the waterstop to ‘disintegrate’. 

The typical expansion characteristics when exposed to potable water is as follows:

• 7 days – 118% movement
• 14 days – 131% expansion
• 28 days – 142% expansion
• 56 days – 177% expansion
