Properties and its uses:
Used in conjunction with fibreglasss mat to
obtain added strength. This system exhibits
higher corrosion and abrasion resistance and
has excellent adhesion to metals, concrete, and
wood. A minimum of two layers of fiberglass
mat is recommended. However, one layer of
fiberglass mat and one layer of tissue mat is
satisfactory where corrosion or abrasive
conditions are not excessive.
Area of applications:
Any industries where higher corrosion and
abrasion resistance are needed. Such areas as
effluent treatment tank, pickling tank and
chemical storage tank will find this system very
ideal.
Surface preparation:
– Abrasive blast clean to minimum SA 2.5
standard for steel. Alternative method of
surface preparation may, under some
circumstances be acceptable. These must be
consulted with our technical personnel.
– All concrete surfaces should be clean, dry and
free from any contamination.
